There are a lot of things I like about this bag, and there are a few things that I...really don't.To be clear, I absolutely love the layout of the pockets. There is a lot of potential with how these are. To (hopefully) give you an idea of how big they are, I threw a pencil into the pockets for sizing.Oh yea, the pencil strap is a bit too high up to fit much more than shorter pens and pencils. I'd prefer the loops to be down a bit more so they can support a wider variety of objects. Even the pencil I used was a bit of a weird fit.The other down side is the strap. It's made with a very slippery fabric that doesn't do a very good job of gripping my clothes when I have the bag on my shoulder, so it tends to slide into whatever position it finds comfortable, rather than staying where I find comfortable. If I were to keep this bag, I think I would replace the strap with something that has a bit more grip to it. I might also add that it has a synthetic sheen to it that doesn't really fit the aesthetic of a worn leather bag. The zippers are also rather sharp, which makes me feel a little less enthusiastic about diving in for something. They also occasionally stick while opening or closing, but I suspect that breaking the bag in further would help that out a little.Ultimately, I'm returning the bag because it's just a tad to small, which is really unfortunate because I have very little to dislike about it. The main pouch, as it turns out, is just the right size to fit standard DVDs and zip up easily, but I need something another inch taller or so.I really wanted to keep this bag as the overall structure and quality was nice. However, the color was not a true black - it was a darker brownish black. Not a bad color, but not what I was looking for. I ended up returning.Well made, with many convenient pockets. Shoulder strap is lightweight fabric, but probably strong.Convenience, just the right size!I like the size and the look of this bag. It has a nylon adjustable strap that is very easy to adjust and comfortable on your body, it’s long enough for a crossbody or you can shorten for your shoulder, the bag is a nice looking brown distressed leather. There are a lot of storage compartments in a compact size which is what I needed. The two main central compartments are deep, the one toward the front has an interior pouch on the side and the one toward the back has a zipper side pouch. The front has a top entry very narrow zippered slot and the front zips open and has card slots and pen holders and another narrow slot on the outside with a metal key loop. The back has another zippered deep slot. It has nice heavy metal zippers and leather loop pulls. The strap is well attached with leather sewn on the strap as well as on the bag itself and sturdy metal hardware in between. There is also a short leather carry handle on top.One issue I have is the handle is permanently attached and does not come off, it has no removable swivel clips, so this cannot be worn around your waist as a hands free bag, I would have preferred a removable strap with swivels, I missed that feature which my other one had, the swivels kept the strap straight and could be clipped around my waist with the strap shortened when I needed to be hands free running through airports or having to carry other things etc..The only other complaint would be that the compartments are lined with very dark brown nylon which makes it impossible to see down in the bag, especially when the compartments are pretty narrow like on this bag, a light tan, beige or even a bright light color interior would have made it much easier to find things.Overall I like it, it’s a great size, compact with lots of storage and well made at a good price.I can see how this product is catered to men, when a purse isn’t an everyday item, however I think after seeing it in person it really is casual enough that it could be masculine or feminine. I originally purchased this for a male family member who expressed interest in having a small, over the shoulder bag to carry misc. items in, as I do with my purse.He ultimately was looking for a black leather color, so I kept this bag and really am glad that I did. It’s small enough that I can bring it along and almost forget it’s there, while still having all kinds of compartments and enough space to stuff a packable rain or down jacket into for the summer. I find the color to be lovely and the material does not look or feel cheap. The zippers open and close with ease and I like that the strap has plenty of length for adjustment. Someone could even turn this into a vertical hip pack if they wanted to….That all said, this may not be my every day go to but it’s definitely become one of the top 3 smaller bags I turn to when needed. I personally LOVE all the compartments and zippers when traveling so I can know exactly what is where while also limiting myself to a smaller space. For the price, I don’t think anyone could really go wrong here and I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for something small with lots of compartments, while looking to achieve a laid back casual feel.This is a man purse. It's okay, I love mine. I have several. This one is very nice. High-quality leather and zippers, a strap that you can adjust for length to meet any body size. It's pretty small but big enough to hold your stuff, lots of storage options, from several main pouches to smaller pouches for things like pens and coins. Very well made, and goes with a wide variety of clothing!
