Tote ordered 12/30/22 with Amazon Prime. Tote mailed 1/2/23 and arrived 1/8/23, later than expected. When I retrieved the mail, I was upset to find the tote had been mailed in the just the product packaging and the zipper was partly unzipped. The product packaging is permeable except for the clear plastic and zipper.Some reviewers mentioned the tote size being off. I measured the one I received. In case it does not show in the picture, the width along the bottom seam measured 9 1/8 inches. The depth along the bottom side edge seam measured 4 1/2 inches. The height of the bag from bottom side edge seam to top measured 12 1/2 inches. There could be variation between totes, but this was the size of the tote I received. The star off is because of the size in the item description not matching the bag I received (although I prefer the size bag I received). The long strap was located in the zippered pouch inside the bag. Not including the snaps, I could make it as short as 17 1/2 inches up to 52 5/8 inches long. I included a picture of the tote using the cross-body strap on a person just over 5'6" tall.The color of the bag I received (light gray) appears a little darker than what I see when viewing the tote on my cell phone, iPad, and windows laptop. I was happy with the darker appearing shade.Structure and construction of the tote seem generally good. The material feels sturdy, but not so much that the tote feels stiff. The sewing on my tote is pretty consistent with even stitching. There is one edge of the bottom seam that does not perfectly match with the bottom side edge seam and side seam. It's very close, however, and I don't plan on looking at the underside of this tote unless a hole forms. It definitely does not affect the function of the tote. There is one small area (shown in photo) where some black thread was pulled through during sewing of the bag. A nice feature of this tote is that the D-ring straps are sewn in more than one spot, so it gives strength to that area. After bag failures due to the D-rings detaching or ripping out, this aspect drew my attention.The construction of the bag could have been done a little differently to make it stronger in some spots. Areas that may be of concern are the short strap ends, which have just a small edge sewn into the seam. A longer piece with reinforcement stitching would have strengthened this area. There is a picture showing one of the short strap ends with a white line showing the end of the strap. The snap could be a weak area due to how it is attached to the bag. It does firmly snap shut and feels secure, however.Inside of the bag are two open slots and one zippered slot. On my bag, one slot is 9.2 cm (fit my iphone 8 plus in soft case) and the other is 11.5 cm. The zippered slot is 15.5 cm. They have a good depth of around 13.5 cm. I found no problems with the inner construction of the bag, although a lighter interior color would be helpful for me to find items. In the picture, I have my iPad in there vertically, too. It actually sits deeper in the tote than the picture shows because the bag does slouch down a bit when sat on a table. I was able to fit my iPad in sideways, but in my bag, it has to be at a slight angle since it's 9 7/8" including the case. I don't plan on carrying my iPad in my purse very often, though.Overall, I really like this bag and hope it holds up for a while. It looks and feels sturdy. I like the embroidery and the idea of the saying stitched on the sides. Wearing this cross-body allows me to keep my hands free and not have to frequently reposition any shoulder straps. I may add a divider insert. A flat canvas slot pocket on the backside of the bag would be nice. Pins or other embellishments could easily be added to this bag as well (if you like how Chala bags look).
