The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justin´s patented J-Flex® Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the ¨Standard Of The West Since 1879¨.

boots fit way tight with regular socks. I had to wear dress socks to get them on. there is no lining inside the boot so the raw rough leather will work your socks down to your ankles in no time flat. I've done everything to break them in and still cannot put them on with a cotton sock. I don't want to throw them away, but they seem to be more trouble than they are worth. Chock this purchase up as a LOSS!!Tighter than expected but they did loosen up some. Can’t return now. My husband tried to used old ones as much as possible and tried to save these for his good pair. Finally had to start using these all the time. After awhile inside sole started coming out when he pulled his foot out. After a couple months one sole fell off, glued it back on. Now other has fallen off. I will never buy these again. My husband desperately needs some good boots and we can’t afford a lot. Thought I was getting a decent pair but I did not. Very unhappy and disappointed customer. Wasted some hard earned money. Don’t buy! These are very good work boots. They seem to run very, very slightly larger than other new boots/shoes ... which means they are closer to how boots were sized years ago. I replaced a busted up set of the same boots bought 10 years ago with the same size (10.5W), and they fit the same. I generally need a 10.5 or 11 now days (maybe I'm actually a 10.75 by today's standards)They are just OK looking ... no bells and whistles, just boots. The tread on the soles in not especially deep. The first thing to go on my last pair were the heels and soles, which are a little bit soft. When the shallow tread went away, they were very slippery in the snow/ice. However they are very comfortable for my stubby flat feet, and the price is right. The leather is a little bit pebbled, which I like.I tried a 9.5D in the store and it fit well wearing normal ankle socks. The store was too expensive so I ordered a 9.5D from amazon. The boots I received feel almost a full size too big but the tag inside the boots says 9.5D. The sole was comfy though and the leather felt good. Inconsistent sizing isn't good for something ordered online though...New edit: After adding my normal boot insole and wearing thick wool socks they seem to fit right. They have a quality feel I just can't get over the fact that the sizing is inconsistent. I am keeping them but will have to be more careful in the future.I bought these for work. Have always been a fan of Justin boots and had good luck with them but these didn't last long. A few months of wearing them and the sole came off. Very disappointed. Fit was good and they were comfortable, just didn't hold up for me.This is a present for my son. He loves Justins boots and wanted to get for him. Boot Barn has been nothing short of horrible to deal with. It took about seven calls and long waits each time to get these. During this time they lost these boots didn't know where they were and then I had to choose a different pair because Justin didn't make these anymore. Then out of the blue these showed up and 2 days later the second pair showed up now I have to wait for a ups recall notice from Boot Barn and then they want me to either take to a ups store to return them or call ups to come pick them up. So much hassle and will not buy anything from Boot Barn again.I only have Justin that’s all I buy but these boots are the worst I ever had they are stiff come up a foot past my ankle witch would be good if the cow wasn’t a million years old when they made this stiff a$$ boot. I have tried getting them wet and working the boot but nothing has helped at the end of the day my feet hurt so bad I had to go back to my older boots until I can buy something else somewhere elseI've never worn Justin work boots before but I have not been disappointed. I've been wearing them for 2 weeks and they're holding up well. They're a little snug at first because the leather isn't broken in but after 1 day they fit exactly like they should. I'm getting another pair as a backup. Definitely worth the money.
